Chemical Plant Operations Coordinator
Location: Camden, NJ 08105 Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 Annually
Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support our Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering, and EHS teams. This role will be responsible for maintaining operational records, tracking compliance documentation, supporting maintenance systems, coordinating projects, and assisting with reporting initiatives across the facility.
Responsibilities: Maintain production, maintenance, and engineering records. Manage vacation requests and administrative documentation. Assist with purchase requisitions, PO tracking, and cost allocation. Maintain environmental, OSHA, and DOT compliance records. Administer eMaint CMMS and Monday.com systems. Create, track, and close maintenance work orders. Assist with SOP, batch sheet, and equipment file management. Compile production, maintenance, and project metrics. Support safety, quality, and environmental audits. Assist with incident investigations and corrective action tracking. Coordinate capital and maintenance projects, contractors, and project documentation.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of experience supporting manufacturing operations, engineering, maintenance, or EHS functions. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Experience with eMaint, CMMS systems, or project management software is a plus.
Work Environment: This position is primarily office-based with regular time spent in a manufacturing plant, laboratory, and warehouse environment. Occasional local travel may be required.
