About the role

Safley Bag Machine Operator Safley sets up, operates, and monitors bag machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals. Completes bag machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation. Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met. Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations. Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently. Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members. Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements. Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use. Effectively works with other departments or team members, such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they arise. All other duties as assigned. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients. Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options. Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment. No travel required.
