About the Role:
Neglia Group is looking for an experienced Traffic Division Manager to lead and grow our Transportation group. This is a turnkey leadership role. You will take ownership of the day-to-day traffic engineering practice, develop the team, and continue evolving the division so it runs smoothly and expands.
Responsibilities:
Lead traffic studies, NJDOT access permits, signal design, and board support Manage and mentor traffic engineers and technicians Appear at municipal Planning and Zoning Board hearings 2–3 evenings per week Build strong client relationships with municipalities and private developers Help shape the future direction of the traffic practice
Qualifications:
Licensed PE in New Jersey or New York (PP a plus)Solid experience in municipal traffic engineering and board testimony
Required Skills:
Proven ability to manage projects, people, and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-starter who can operate with limited oversight Experience in traffic engineering Work arrangement Hybrid flexibility. Base can be Lyndhurst or Mountainside, with remote work available. Expectation is regular in-person presence and board appearances 2–3 times per week.
