About the role

Hot Dog Production Manager Processes ready to eat hot dogs, including packaging, for delivery to Costco warehouse stores in food courts and for shelf retail product.
Job duties include: Operating equipment controls, maintaining production line consistency, work flow, and efficiency. Assisting staff with quality control tests, including temperature, weight, and solid seal checks. Monitoring staff in their completion of tasks, and directing as needed. Responding to changes in the equipment of the production line as needed, solving equipment malfunctions causing production problems. Setting up multiple rapid pack guards and stainless steel doors covering film and tooling. Setting up carts and luggers needed for rework. Continually assuring the quality and appearance of meat products, inspecting line machine operation, and visually inspecting to ensure quality and consistency. Correcting product errors when necessary. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety of machinery in the work area. Responsible for food safety, quality, and consistency of product produced. Ensuring proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials. Ability to operate vehicles, equipment, or machinery. Assisting with department duties as necessary. Assisting in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
