Category Manager: Medical Surgical

What You’ll Do: Lead end-to-end sourcing and contracting for medical-surgical categories. Develop category strategies using spend, market, and supplier analytics. Lead RFP/RFI processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management. Manage medical-surgical distribution and key supplier relationships. Partner with clinicians and senior leaders on Value Analysis and standardization. Identify and deliver savings and performance improvement opportunities. Translate complex Supply Chain data into clear recommendations for leadership.

What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Supply Chain, or related field; Master’s preferred.4+ years of healthcare Supply Chain and/or contract management experience. Experience with medical-surgical products, distribution, inpatient or ambulatory supplies. Healthcare spend management and GPO experience. Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Experience with ERP, contract management, inventory systems, and/or GHX/EDI.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power Point. Location: 555 South Broadway, Tarrytown, NYAnnual Base Salary Range: $132,000 to $165,000
