About the role

A multi-billion AUM investment manager is hiring a Specialist for its Pricing and Valuations team in New York, as the firm continues to expand its pricing and valuation capabilities across a broad range of products. The firm maintains a lean, high-caliber team structure, with both autonomy and close cross-team collaboration. The culture rewards ownership and a willingness to challenge and improve existing processes. The successful candidate will identify and address pricing discrepancies as they arise, working cross-functionally to maintain accurate data flows across the platform. Core responsibilities include daily P&L oversight and attribution, onboarding new securities, and configuring OTC valuation models, with a lead role in month-end price testing. Candidates should hold a degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering, and bring significant experience in pricing, P&L, and reference data, ideally with a background as a quantitative analyst or in a similar valuations-focused role. Strong knowledge across fixed income, OTC derivatives, pricing methodologies, and structured products is required. A background in centralized data master concepts and hands-on experience with market data is expected. Strong Excel skills and technical background are required; strong coding ability and a CPA are both a plus.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
