The Opportunity: We are looking for a Branch Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of a growing home services business in Greensboro, North Carolina. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to lead people, establish clear expectations, hold a team accountable, and drive results. You will be responsible for the overall performance of the branch—developing the team, improving execution, solving problems, and ensuring the business consistently delivers for its customers. No home services experience is required. We are specifically looking for someone with a strong military leadership background who has led teams in demanding environments and knows how to create structure, accountability, and a high standard of performance. What You’ll OwnTeam Leadership: Lead, develop, and hold accountable the team responsible for delivering the work. Branch Performance: Own the overall operational and financial performance of the location. Execution: Make sure priorities are clear, problems are addressed quickly, and commitments are followed through. Accountability: Establish clear expectations, measure performance, and address issues directly. People Development: Identify strong performers, develop future leaders, and build a team capable of taking on more responsibility. Customer Experience: Ensure the team consistently delivers high-quality service and resolves customer issues quickly. Process Improvement: Identify where the operation is breaking down and implement practical solutions. Growth: Work with company leadership to support continued growth while ensuring the operation can execute at a high level. Who We’re Looking ForThe ideal candidate is a military veteran with significant leadership experience who is ready to bring those skills into the private sector. You do not need to know the home services industry. You do need to know how to lead. You should be someone who: Has led teams and been accountable for results. Sets clear expectations and follows up. Is comfortable having difficult conversations and holding people accountable. Can operate in a fast-moving environment with competing priorities. Knows how to build structure without creating unnecessary bureaucracy. Develops people instead of simply managing tasks. Takes ownership when something goes wrong and figures out how to fix it. Is comfortable being close to the operation rather than managing from behind a desk.
Background:
  • Military leadership experience required.
  • Officer or senior NCO leadership background strongly preferred.
  • No prior home services experience required.
  • Prior experience owning people, operations, resources, or mission execution is highly valued.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Compensation$115,000 base salary + performance bonus
