Job Description: Exco Extrusion Dies Inc. was established in 1997 following the foundation of Exco Technologies Limited in 1952. The Exco Extrusion Group has grown to include facilities in Canada, Texas, Colombia, Italy and Brazil. The Exco Extrusion Group of manufacturing facilities are part of the largest producers of extrusion tooling globally. Our mission is to provide aluminum extrusion dies which will produce and assure long operating life. Our production capabilities exceed 4,500 dies a month, supporting extruders serving construction, automotive, and consumer goods markets. Summary of Responsibilities: Qualified applicants must have previous experience setting up and operating wire EDMs. The ability to also perform basic manual machining operations is a plus. Candidates must be able to read and work from blue prints and have the ability to inspect parts using precision measuring equipment. Qualifications we are looking for: Program, set-up, operate and monitor EDM wire equipment Produce parts to specification; verify parts meet extremely close tolerance dimensions, alignments, and specifications Work from blueprints and process sheets to determine the correct procedure for manufacturing Perform maintenance duties and machine cleaning Ensure that precision machinery is in working condition and properly calibrated Verify conformity and quality of finished parts Experience with fixture design is preferred Operation of manual mills and/or lathes is a plus Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner Communicate thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in writing, to co-workers and management Why Exco?9 paid holidays’Paid sick days Paid vacation Full benefits package (Health, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life)401k plan Pension plan Shift premium for working afternoons Compensation based on experience.
