Role Description The Assistant to Office Manager - Part Time role is an on-site position based in Tyler, TX. This role supports the Office Manager with day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks. Responsibilities include organizing and filing documents, data entry, preparing basic correspondence or forms, and some public relations with mailouts and emails. The assistant may help with record keeping and other non described tasks as needed. This part-time role requires consistent on-site presence (although may be flexible for 1 day per week work from home after training is complete), reliability, and the ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills for organizing records, managing documents, and supporting daily office operations.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills to relay messages, and interact professionally.
Relevant skills such as time management, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are beneficial.
Experience in a medical or healthcare office setting is preferred (not required), along with familiarity with basic office software (e.g., email, word processing, and spreadsheets).
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in office administration or healthcare administration is a plus, but also not required.
Potential for full time position in the future.
