Senior Manager, Quality Assurance
Position Overview: Lead quality assurance activities within a manufacturing environment. This role oversees the Quality Management System, regulatory compliance, inspection, supplier quality, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop the quality and inspection teams. Maintain compliance with applicable quality and regulatory standards. Manage audits, corrective actions, nonconformances, and quality procedures. Oversee supplier qualification, performance, and quality improvement. Support Engineering and Operations with new product introduction, process validation, inspection, and product quality. Use Lean, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, and quality metrics to improve performance. Partner with customers, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. Develop quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, quality, engineering, or related operations. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Proven leadership, problem-solving, and corrective-action experience. Strong cross-functional and customer-facing communication skills.
