This role is crucial for delivering comprehensive patient care, including advanced hygiene and patient education, in a supportive, state-of-the-art environment with a dedicated hygiene assistant. We currently utilize Practice Works software. Pay$45~$50 per hour

Requirements:

Licensed dental hygienist
Associate's or advanced degree in Dental Hygiene.
Current state certification/license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).Strong commitment to patient care, oral health, and delivering quality work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
Ability to perform all key duties, including patient assessment, charting, and taking vital signs.

Job Description: Perform comprehensive patient screening procedures, including taking and reviewing health histories, oral cancer screenings, head and neck inspections, dental charting, and recording vital signs. Skillfully remove calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth. Apply preventive materials to teeth, including dental sealants and fluorides. Educate and counsel patients on proper oral hygiene techniques (brushing, flossing) and the impact of nutrition on oral health. Take dental impressions for study casts as needed. Collaborate closely with the dental team and a dedicated hygiene assistant to ensure efficient workflow and a high standard of patient care.
