Role Overview:
Kodak is seeking a skilled mechanical assembler to assemble large precision equipment. Expertise in working with hand tools and measurement instruments. We are looking for skilled people who have a good history of work performance.
Responsibilities:
Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Performs assembly work as part of a team of skilled workers, engineering, and management personnel. Assembles machines such as high-speed rotating shafting, frame assemblies, gears and pulleys, motors, bearings, and belt conveyors using hand and power tools. Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, and fork trucks. Other duties as assigned by management including periodic travel.
Required Skills:
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Previous experience as an assembler, millwright, maintenance technician or equivalent of at least 5 years. Must have basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Working Conditions:
Job tasks performed in an air-conditioned environment. Full-time first shift (dayshift) opportunities are available. Overtime and Saturday may be required as workload dictates.
