Department Summary
Passionate about unraveling complex challenges and uncovering valuable business insights through the power of data? Join our Data Science team within the Compensation and Data Excellence Department, where we are dedicated to delivering data‑centric solutions and insights to our commercial business partners.
This internship position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana - On site
The Opportunity
Contribute to the advancement of high‑priority data science initiatives
Conduct data analysis, distilling and communicating key findings to stakeholders
Play a key role in crafting and enhancing analytics and reporting solutions
Collaborate on strategic data‑driven projects with a focus on impact and efficiency
Program Highlights
Intensive 12‑weeks full‑time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Program start dates are in May/June (Summer)
A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
Ownership of challenging and impactful business‑critical projects.
Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.
Who You Are (Required)
Required Education
You meet one of the following criteria:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student)
Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree (not currently enrolled in a graduate program)
Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student)
Required majors: Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or similar field of study with a quantitative component.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Complements our culture and the standards that guide our daily behavior & decisions: Integrity, Courage, and Passion.
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application. Hands‑on experience applying these models to real world problems is a plus.
Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge in any cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure), with a preference for AWS.
Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $45-$50 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
