Business Development Representative Kinrei of America (KOA) | Wayne, NJ | Full-Time About Kinrei of America Kinrei of America (KOA) is a Wayne, NJ-based manufacturers’ rep of wire and cable manufacturing machinery, and a subsidiary of Donnelly Industries. We represent a portfolio of leading international machinery manufacturers supplying stranding, cabling, extrusion, electroplating, and reel equipment to wire and cable manufacturers across North America. We have been serving the industry for over 25 years and are a small, growing team. Supporting long-standing customer relationships and an expanding project pipeline.
The Role: We are looking for a Business Development Representative to handle existing and drive new pipeline for KOA. This role is focused on identifying and engaging new prospects, building relationships with target accounts, and generating qualified opportunities — not on closing technical deals independently. You will work closely with our General Manager, who leads all technical scoping and quoting, to hand off warm, qualified opportunities for further development. This is a great fit for someone who wants to build a career in industrial or capital equipment sales, enjoys the hunt of prospecting and relationship building, travelling and is motivated by growing a book of business.
What You'll Do: Research and identify target accounts within the wire and cable manufacturing industry Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and Linked In to generate new leads Qualify inbound inquiries and route them appropriately Represent KOA at industry trade shows and events, engaging prospects and following up on leads generated Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in our CRM (Pipedrive)Partner closely with the General Manager to hand off qualified opportunities for technical scoping and quoting Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective accounts, supporting through the sales cycle Travel up to 50% across North America (primarily within the USA)
What we are Looking For: 2–5 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or a related B2B sales role Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or capital equipment sales strongly preferred Comfortable and confident with outbound prospecting and cold outreach Strong written and verbal communication skills Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing a pipeline independently Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America (primarily within the USA)Bachelor's degree preferred, not required Why KOAYou will join a lean, established team with deep technical expertise and long-standing OEM and customer relationships — with real room to grow as the company scales its sales function.
