What You'll Do:
  • Learn to operate gear hobbing machines and gear grinders
  • Monitor multiple machines running long production cycles (up to 6 hours each)
  • Produce gears to spec, checking quality along the way
  • Use precision tools (mics) to check work, with full training provided
  • Maintain a safe, steady pace in a hands-on production environment
  • What You'll Bring
  • Mechanical experience is required - auto, factory machines, farm equipment, or similar backgrounds all count
  • Gear machine experience is a plus, but not necessary
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail
  • Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to sticking with itAbility to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in a shop environment
