About the role
To support the educational mission of a public, nonprofit institution, the full-time remote Physics Faculty will focus on teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, participating in service activities, and engaging in scholarship and professional development.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver student-centered instruction and maintain communication regarding student progress and concerns
Participate in departmental governance and faculty meetings, contributing to program development and institutional assessment
Engage in professional development and scholarship activities, collaborating with peers and staying current with educational trends
Required qualifications:
Master's degree in Physics; PhD preferred
2-4 years of relevant subject-matter work experience; online teaching experience preferred
Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google applications, and Zoom
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision
Strong organizational and time management skills
