- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and inventory usage to ensure proper tracking and documentation
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems across terminal and industrial environments
- Perform preventative maintenance such as lubrication, oil sampling, and fluid testing
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, systems, and grounds, identifying potential safety or maintenance issues before failures occur
- Operate mobile or mechanical equipment as required to perform maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
- Operate hand and power tools to assemble or repair mechanical components and parts
- Move, inspect, and adjust machinery and safety components to ensure proper operation and alignment
- Diagnose and repair equipment and assets, including dismantling, assembling, and installing parts or performing service on machinery
- Demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and mobile equipment systems and the ability to diagnose or repair heavy machinery
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems to maintain safe and efficient operations
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine proper repair methods and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Previous experience in industrial, terminal, or mechanical maintenance preferred
- Vocational or technical training in maintenance, welding, hydraulics, or a related field beneficial but not required
- Previous experience driving yard vehicles EducationHigh School or GED equivalent
