About the role
Shop Assistant Position Morgan Pavement is looking for a hardworking, motivated shop assistant to join our team. If hired, you'll be an integral part of our shop crew, helping with maintaining our fleet and shop supplies. Responsibilities:
Assist with small repairs Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment Assist with repair or replacement of faulty parts, components, or systems Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Knowledge on working on asphalt equipment (sealcoat, striping, crack seal, paving) a plus Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Excellent problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently or as part of a team Desire to learn Clean and organize the yard and shop Assist with part ordering Apply today and be a part of our team!
