About the role
Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor (Part-Time) The Department of Restorative Dentistry at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine is seeking part-time general dentists for a faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor. The successful candidate will have a.20FTE–.40FTE commitment to teaching. Specific responsibilities include participation in both didactic and clinical teaching of Restorative Dentistry (Operative Dentistry, Fixed Prosthodontics, and Removable Prosthodontics) to our pre-doctoral dental students, as well as participation in other predoctoral educational programs of the Department. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and teamwork skills. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Interviews of qualified candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Position Status: Part Time

Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience: Candidates must possess a DDS/DMD or an equivalent dental degree; Previous academic teaching and proven research experience are preferred; Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
Certifications/Licenses: Candidates must possess a DDS/DMD or an equivalent dental degree; Currently hold or be eligible for dental licensure in the State of New Jersey.
