Scale Clerk Core Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by handling phone inquiries, processing orders, and supporting field sales representatives with professionalism and a positive attitude Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members using verbal and written skills Operate office equipment and accurately perform scale duties, ensuring precise measurements and data recording Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining organization and attention to detail Read and understand various documents including instruction manuals, safety information, and hazard labels to ensure compliance and safety Perform general office administration tasks such as data entry, filing, and supporting other administrative functions as needed Make informed decisions independently, handling administrative responsibilities with sound judgment Adapt to changing priorities and diverse tasks to support the dynamic needs of the operation Scale Clerk Key Skills Excellence in customer service with a professional and positive demeanor Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry and office tasks Ability to operate office equipment and perform scale-related duties accurately Highly organized and capable of multitasking effectively Competent in reading and comprehending technical and safety documents Strong decision-making skills with the ability to work independently Adaptable and flexible in a fast-changing work environment Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Prior experience in an office environment preferred but not required. Other Requirements: Strong work ethic and reliability in performing scale and administrative duties.
