This role offers the opportunity to contribute hands-on construction expertise in support of work that connects building science with practical application. The Temporary Carpentry or Contruction Technician plays an important part in helping projects move forward with accuracy, quality, and a strong focus on safe, reliable execution.
Responsibilities: Perform carpentry and construction tasks including framing, drywall, and finish work. Read blueprints and sketches to complete projects accurately and on schedule. Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Support site setup, repairs, and general facility maintenance as needed. Follow safety procedures while working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Requirements: 3+ years of hands-on experience in both carpentry and construction work. Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and basic construction plans accurately. Experience using hand and power tools safely in construction environments. Physical ability to lift materials and work in varying weather conditions. Eligibility to work in the United States. Previous maintenance experience is a plus.
