Your Role & Impact As a Community Outreach Worker, you’ll be a frontline ambassador for TrueCare, responsible for engaging with underserved populations and connecting them to essential health services. You’ll coordinate and attend community events, distribute educational materials, and collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to promote health awareness and increase patient enrollment. Your work will help reduce barriers to care, improve health outcomes, and foster trust between TrueCare and the communities we serve.
What We’re Looking For: Knowledge of local community-based agencies. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Associate degree from an accredited institution in healthcare or related field or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience relevant to the position. At least one (1) year experience in health care or related field, performing outreach, education, case work or customer service to diverse populations. Availability to work outside of standard hours (i.e., evenings, weekends) Public speaking, computer literacy, including internet navigation and research skills, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to build relationships across diverse populations. Will require to use own vehicle to travel daily to outreach venues. A California Driver's License, proof of automobile insurance and a clean driving record is required (no tickets or accidents) is required.

The startomg pay for this role is $23.00 per hour - depending on work experience and internal equity. The maximum that one can make while holding this title will be 32.20 per hour.
