We are seeking candidates with a strong quality background in manufacturing, including at least 2 years of quality inspection experience and hands-on experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools. Quality Technician Details: Temp-to-Hire position$ 17.00 / hour Full Time work available First Shift ( Monday through Thursday from 04:00am to 02:30pm )Perform inspections and testing of products and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards. Use precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment. Conduct Class-A and surface inspections on stamped and assembled parts. Monitor production processes and identify quality concerns before they impact production. Analyze quality data and investigate non-conformances. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Support internal and external audits. Maintain detailed inspection and quality records. Assist in developing and improving quality procedures. Train production employees on quality standards and processes.
Quality Technician Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous hands-on experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Knowledge of quality systems, audits, and inspection procedures
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
