About the role
ASC Transporter The ASC Transporter is responsible for assisting patients to and from the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and providing a general courier service to Hattiesburg Clinic.
Education & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, requiredMust be at least 21 years of age or older, requiredMust have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, required
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Professional appearance
- Outgoing and pleasant personality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deal with stressful and complicated situations with poise and precise decision-making
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk and remain on feet for several hours at a time
- Assist with lifting amounts of weight more than 100+lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, twist for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or reaching, both overhead and at or below shoulder level
- Constant communication (including speaking and hearing) both face to face and over the phone
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:30PM
