Baler Operator Tend machines that shred and/or compresses and binds paper by-products generated from the print manufacturing process to facilitate disposition of the waste materials Thread tie bands around bale and twists or clamps ends of bands to tighten bands Opens compression chamber doors and removes bale from machine Truck bales to storage location using air lifts, pallet jacks or hoist trucks Complete daily forklift condition report Weight the bales and keep records of the gross weight, materials grade of the bales Perform routine maintenance on the baling machinery and remove obstructions in the cyclone as needed May load bales on trucks, rail cars for disposal and complete shipping manifest May photograph container and seal for verification purposes All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $17.00 - $22.67 / hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
