What You’ll Be Doing: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment according to established maintenance programs and procedures. Read and interpret maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, blueprints, and parts lists to safely repair, maintain, and install equipment. Inspect machinery and facility systems regularly to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions before failures occur. Maintain, repair, and improve corrugated converting equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Perform basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fabrication work as needed. Operate cutting torches, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to repair or fabricate components. Repair and maintain the physical structure of the facility, including both interior and exterior building systems. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and safety. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment consistent with 5S principles. Strictly follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety standards while performing maintenance activities. Collaborate effectively with production personnel and other departments to support operational goals. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or related technical experience. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment documentation. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to safely lift and move materials, tools, and equipment as required.
