Job Opportunities Academy Bus has opportunities available for our Local MTA Commuter Service, Charter Bus Driver and Class A Diesel Mechanic positions out of our Baltimore, MD location. SIGN ON BONUS for full-time drivers and mechanics. CDL with passenger endorsement and airbrake endorsement is required for driver opportunities.
Bus Driver Requirements
CDLPassenger Endorsement
Airbrake Endorsement: Good Driving RecordLocal fixed route/line runs or out of state & overnight charter driver experience is a plus. Diesel Mechanic (Class A)
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of diesel engine maintenance
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic devices such as: DDEC readers, ATEC readers, SmarTire, schematics, AIC (Freon) recovery and charging equipment
  • Proven ability to use hands tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks, welding equipment, and testing instruments
  • Must have own tools according to level
  • Valid driver's license
Basic computer skillsCDL License with Passenger and Airbrake endorsement is a plus but not required, willingness to obtain a CDL License is also desirable.
