Administrative Assistant The Administrative Assistant will support our Tax department by managing administrative functions to ensure seamless operations and positive client interactions.
Responsibilities: Assist with new client onboarding, including setting up and updating client information in internal systems, processing new client setup forms, and preparing engagement letters. Assist with the annual engagement letter process, including preparation, distribution, tracking, and follow-up. Assist with tax return processing and assembly, including electronic and physical deliverables as needed. Sort, scan, distribute, and maintain incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence. Collaborate with other administrative team members to support the Tax team with calendaring and scheduling, certified mailings, DocuSign requests, faxing, document preparation, and other administrative needs. Assist with maintaining and organizing electronic and physical client files and records. Assist with tracking outstanding administrative items and following up with team members as needed. Maintain and stock office supplies and coordinate supply orders as needed. Provide additional administrative support to the Tax department and assist with special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills / Abilities:
  • 1-2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or Administrative Assistant in a fast-paced professional services work environment (Accounting, Financial Services or Law firm experience highly desirable)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Strong organization, time management, and computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).$50,000 - $60,000 a year The annual salary target for this job in this market is $50,000 - $60,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
