Technical Partnerships Engineer Washington, DC (5 Days Onsite) $160,000 - $200,000 Base Salary + Equity A high-growth fintech infrastructure company is hiring a Technical Partnerships Engineer to join its engineering team in Washington, DC. This is a unique opportunity for a software engineer who enjoys both building products and partnering directly with technical customers. Unlike a traditional Solutions Engineer role, you'll remain deeply hands-on with code while working closely with product and engineering teams at enterprise customers. You'll help customers integrate APIs, SDKs, and developer tools, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and build internal products that improve the overall customer experience. The company powers critical financial infrastructure used by more than one million end users through its customers' platforms and is investing heavily in AI-native products, LLM applications, and agentic workflows.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Serve as a technical partner to customer product and engineering teams
  • Help customers integrate and leverage APIs, SDKs, developer tools, and embedded products
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across multiple customer accounts
  • Write production-quality code to improve both customer-facing and internal systems
  • Design technical solutions rather than simply configuring existing tools
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly through Slack, tickets, documentation, and customer calls
  • Identify recurring challenges and build scalable engineering solutions
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to influence roadmap decisions
