The Engineering Department at AKRF is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support leadership of its Hudson Valley office. This individual will serve a key function in the design and management of a broad range of land development projects for both our private and public sector clients. The potential candidate will have the opportunity to work in an environment of encouragement and collaboration to help AKRF shape the future of the region.
ResponsibilitiesManage multiple projects located in Westchester County and the broader Hudson Valley.
Support business development and office growth including preparation of proposals.
Provide oversight of technical staff.
Serve as main point of contact for clients and regulators.
Oversee the design and production of plans, specifications, and deliverables.
Perform QA/QC of deliverables prepared by others.
Manage or assist with project responsibilities, including task coordination, scheduling, and budgeting.
Oversee or support construction administration, including periodic site visits to active construction sites.
Capable of overseeing both the technical and financial aspects of a project.
Valid driver\'s license required.
QualificationsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
10+ years of industry experience
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York State
Proven ability to manage multiple projects while overseeing the work and development of junior to mid-level staff
Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Experience presenting at public hearings
Extensive background in delivering design projects within and around New York City
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Skilled in managing and meeting multiple deadlines
CompensationCompensation will range from $130,000 to $170,000, and commensurate with experience.
