Job PostingESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform milling, grinding, weighing, and preparation of samples for further grain quality tests. Prepare chemical buffers and aliquots according to GMP guidelines Monitor quality assurance parameters and take corrective action when required Maintain and operate liquid handlers and automated lab equipment. Laboratory processes and instrumentation with the ability to troubleshoot technical problems Document sample flow. Troubleshoot processes where necessary Strong background with structured repetitive work Other duties as assigned. Adheres to established practices with precision and efficiency On-site work requiredEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCELife Sciences background (Bachelor's degree preferred but not required) Ability to diagnose problems utilizing a variety of tools including inquiries, observations, system schematics and documentation, software tools, and communications/electrical diagnostic tools Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
