About the role

Technical Project Manager – CPQ Modernization We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and delivery of a large-scale CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) modernization program. This role is primarily program management–focused, with responsibility for driving execution, managing stakeholders, and ensuring end-to-end delivery, while maintaining a strong understanding of the technical landscape (CPQ, integrations, data, and APIs). The individual will act as the bridge between business, technical teams, and vendors, ensuring alignment, governance, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities 1. Project & Delivery ManagementOwn end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, tracking, and reportingDrive project milestones, timelines, and dependencies across multiple workstreamsEnsure delivery is aligned to scope, budget, and timelines2. Stakeholder & Vendor ManagementAct as the primary coordination point between internal teams (GIS, Operations, Business) and external vendorsManage vendor deliverables, timelines, and accountabilityFacilitate governance forums (SteerCo, program reviews, status updates)3. Cross-Functional CoordinationCoordinate across key workstreams: o Integration (ERP/CRM/CPQ) o Data & migration o Application development o Testing & deploymentEnsure alignment of activities and manage interdependencies4. Technical OversightMaintain a working understanding of technical architecture, including: o CPQ platforms and quoting workflows o APIs and system integrations o Data platforms and migration processesReview and challenge vendor/architecture proposals to ensure alignment with business needsEnsure solutions align with enterprise standards and roadmap5. Risk, Issue & Change ManagementProactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependenciesMaintain RAID logs and ensure timely resolution of blockersDrive change management processes and scope control6. Planning & Governance Establish and maintain:Project plans and schedulesResource and capacity plansCommunication cadence and reporting frameworks Ensure structured governance and decision-making (e.g., design discussions, key decisions)7. Quality & Delivery AssuranceEnsure appropriate testing, validation, and readiness checkpoints are planned and executedTrack deliverable quality and ensure acceptance criteria are met8. Deployment & Transition ManagementCoordinate go-live planning and executionEnsure readiness for post-implementation support and handover to operations9. Documentation & CommunicationEnsure clear documentation of plans, status, risks, and decisionsProvide concise executive-level updates and reporting 10. Offshore Team Management (via Workstream Leads)Manage offshore delivery teams through defined workstream leads (Integration, Data, Dev, Testing, etc.)Ensure clear work allocation, prioritization, and timely execution across distributed teamsEstablish structured communication cadence across onshore/offshore teamsMonitor progress, resolve escalations, and ensure alignment with program timelines and quality expectations Required Skills & Experience Project Management8+ years of experience in program/project management for large enterprise initiativesProven experience managing multi-vendor, cross-functional programs Technical UnderstandingStrong conceptual understanding of: o CPQ platforms and quoting processes o System integrations (ERP, CRM, APIs) o Data migration and data platformsAbility to engage effectively with technical architects and developers without owning implementation Leadership & CommunicationStrong stakeholder management and executive communication skillsExperience driving governance forums and decision-making Tools & MethodsExperience with Agile / Hybrid delivery modelsFamiliarity with project tools (MS Project, Azure Devops, HPQC, RAID logs, etc.)
