The Role:
In Finish Process, you'll help get our castings ready to ship. You'll finish castings with hand tools, run shot blast and test equipment, and make sure every part meets our quality standards before it leaves the line. You'll rotate through every job on the process line, so no two days are exactly alike. No manufacturing experience? We'll train you.
What You'll Do:
Finish castings using light hand tools Load and unload castings on test fixtures and processing equipment Operate shot blast equipment Operate test equipment Rotate through all positions on the process line Follow all plant safety, quality, and housekeeping rules Complete required production paperwork
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GEDManufacturing experience preferred, but not required Good eye-hand coordination and attention to detail Able to read and follow work instructions and directions Good communicator who works well on a team Sound judgment and good time management Willing to learn every job on the line What the Job Involves Physically Standing and walking for long periods Repeated lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 75 lbs Repetitive bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching Foundry conditions: temperatures from about 100°F in summer to about 65°F in winter Required PPE at all times Schedule & Pay
Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm
Pay: Starting at $18.00+ per hour, based on experience
