About the role
Now Hiring: Delivery DriverMcCarthy Tire Service is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. If you're a skilled driver with delivery experience and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
Operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently on daily delivery routes.
Load and unload products for delivery, ensuring all items are handled with care.
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Maintain punctual delivery schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch.
Adhere to all McCarthy Tire Service standards and policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Valid driver's license (Class C, depending on vehicle type).Clean MVR, must pass a drug screen and DOT physical.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs safely.
- Comfortable driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed.
