About the role

Position Overview: A global trading firm is looking for an End User Support Engineer to provide high-touch technical support to traders, executives, and research staff. You'll handle hands-on troubleshooting across desktops, mobile, AV, and market data, while improving the systems and processes behind them.
Key Responsibilities: Support users across Windows, macOS, and iOS, resolving hardware, software, network, and market data issues quickly Handle onboarding, offboarding, permissions, and account administration Support AV and conferencing systems (Zoom, Teams, Cisco)Configure and manage mobile devices through Intune or similar tools Support VDI environments for secure remote access Track and resolve requests in an ITSM platform and maintain the knowledge base Find opportunities to automate and streamline support workflows Take part in an after-hours and weekend on-call rotation
Required Qualifications: 2- 4 years of IT support experience in financial services Onsite in New York City, five days a week Available for after-hours and weekend on-call rotation Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or a related field Experience supporting Windows 11 and Office 365 in an enterprise environment Knowledge of identity and access management, user management, and security groups Experience with endpoint management, software deployment, and packaging Solid networking basics (LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP)Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Share Point, and One Drive Working knowledge of AV and conferencing setups Comfortable supporting traders, executives, and analysts directly with a polished, professional approach
