About the role
Head & Neck Oncology Speech-Language Pathologist | Full-Time Hybrid (telehealth + in-person) | Indianapolis, INCancer Rehab Group (CRG), an oncology-dedicated multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, is hiring a passionate and driven Speech-Language Pathologist to help build and deliver a head and neck oncology rehabilitation program. You’ll treat adults across prehabilitation, active treatment, and survivorship, with a caseload focused on dysphagia, trismus, speech, voice, cognitive-communication, and related effects of head and neck cancer treatment. This hybrid role combines care at CRG’s Indianapolis clinic with dedicated weekly telehealth time for appropriate follow-ups, collaboration, caregiver education, and remote monitoring. Key Role/Responsibilities:• Evaluate and treat head and neck cancer-related swallowing, speech, voice, and communication impairments.• Collaborate with rehabilitation colleagues and oncology teams, including case conferences and relevant tumor boards.• Help shape clinical pathways, workflows, and partnerships as the program grows.
Required Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders; CCC-SLP and completed Clinical Fellowship.• Indiana SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure before providing patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with, or a strong foundation in, medically complex adult populations; comfort delivering telehealth.• Evidence-based care in head and neck oncology, dysphagia, voice, speech, laryngectomy/TEP management, general understanding of lymphedema, and/or instrumental swallowing evaluations preferred. The ideal candidate brings a genuine passion for caring for people living with head and neck cancer, a collaborative and relationship-driven approach to program development, and the enthusiasm to contribute to CRG's growth and partnerships.
