Job Description:
This role supports the production of title reports and policies, handling key administrative tasks such as typing legal descriptions, compiling tax reports, and coordinating with municipal departments to gather necessary documentation. The assistant also manages correspondence with clients by emailing reports and responding to inquiries, contributing to a smooth and efficient process within a medium-sized team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare title reports and policies accurately and efficiently
Type legal descriptions for title documentation
Compile and maintain tax reports relevant to titles
Coordinate with municipal departments to obtain required departmental and street reports
Collect and organize street reports for title processing
Communicate with clients regarding report status and requests
Send title reports and policies to clients via email Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience in title insurance, but willing to train the right candidate
Proficient in title report preparation and legal description typing
Strong document management and data entry skills
Effective email communication and customer service abilities
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Good time management within a medium-sized team environment
Familiarity with specialized title software, but will train if necessary
