Regional Financial Controller- FinTechNew York, NY | HybridBrewer Morris is partnering with a global capital markets technology company on the search for a Regional Financial Controller. This is a senior, hands-on leadership seat for someone who wants to own finance for a multi-country region. What you'll own Lead regional accounting, financial reporting and the monthly close, in line with local regulations, accounting standards and Group reporting timelines. Coordinate statutory audits, maintain the ERP and financial systems, and strengthen accounting processes and controls. Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity and banking relationships across the region. Coordinate regional tax matters with the Group Tax Department and support internal compliance and governance. Partner with Sales Administration and commercial teams on invoicing and the financial side of complex client contracts. Work with FP&A on budgets, forecasts and the quality of management reporting. Advise Managing Directors and local management on financial matters and contribute to strategic projects such as office openings and lease negotiations. Lead, mentor and develop the regional team, and drive standard practices across countries.
What we're looking for:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent qualification is preferred, and public accounting experience is a strong plus.
  • Significant controllership experience in a multinational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRSExperience in SaaS, software or fintech, including revenue recognition on complex contracts
  • Proven team leadership, with the seniority to set strategy and the willingness to stay hands-on.
