About the role
Experienced in airworthiness and certification, the full-time Senior Airworthiness Engineer will lead compliance activities, interface with regulatory authorities, and mentor junior engineers, with the option to work hybrid from Boston or remotely.
Key responsibilities:
Execute the certification strategy and technical approach for major programs or product lines
Lead certification documentation and compliance activities for complex technical areas, including structures and avionics
Interface directly with regulatory representatives and manage certification program schedules to ensure timely approvals
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
6-9 years of aerospace certification experience with direct interface to airworthiness or certification authorities
Hands-on experience in military airworthiness or civil certification programs from development through closure
Working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 21, 23, 25, and military airworthiness standards (MIL-SPECs, MIL-STDs)
U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance or a clear path to obtaining one
