About the role
Overview
As Data Science Manager in Red Ventures Home, you will lead a small, high-impact team to deliver ML-powered, personalized customer experiences. You will architect end-to-end AI/ML and agentic solutions and guide production deployment and monitoring. You’ll partner with product, engineering, and business leaders to translate problems into scalable data science initiatives. This role blends hands-on technical work with people leadership to grow capabilities and drive measurable business growth.

Responsibilities Lead a team of 3+ data scientists, setting direction, performance management, and career development Architect end-to-end AI/ML and agentic solutions; review code and ensure high quality Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to plan data science initiatives Translate ambiguous problems into scoped data science projects with deliverables and timelines Build and ship LLM-powered and agentic AI systems from prototype to production and iterate Own technical decisions for model/agent architectures, tooling, observability, and ops practices Promote experimentation and measure impact with defined success metrics Represent data science in cross-functional and external-facing discussions
Key requirements Proven track record delivering production data science solutions using ML and/or generative AIHands-on experience building LLM-based and agentic AI systems with tools like Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Mastra, OpenAI Agents SDK (or similar)Familiarity with modern AI stack (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude) and cloud AI infrastructures (AWS Bedrock Agent Core)Solid understanding of ML/LLM lifecycle and MLOps concepts with hands-on tooling (Lang Smith, MLflow)Experience translating partner/customer problems into ML solutions that drive acquisition, retention, and outcomes Strong communication skills; able to balance technical depth with stakeholder alignment Prior leadership or mentoring experience in data sciencecollaborationclear communicationmentorship Lang Chain Lang Graph Mastra
