Project Engineer, Industrial Power Construction Build the power plants that keep the grid running and build your career while you do it.
THE OPPORTUNITY: A nationally respected employee-owned (ESOP) self-perform contractor is adding a Project Engineer for the concrete package on power generation projects. You'll be on site, close to the work, with real ownership of planning, concrete scope and quality. Not stuck in a trailer pushing paper. WHY THIS ROLE

  • Build work packages and help run the 6-week look-ahead
  • Own the concrete scope from foundations to turnover
  • Support the QA/QC program (pour cards, testing) and track rebar, embeds and materials
  • Make quick calls with designers and trades
  • Run weekly safety inspections and close out fixes
  • Manage craft and staff trainingWHAT YOU BRING
  • 2+ yrs as a PE/FE on industrial work (power a plus)
  • Procore, Bluebeam, or INEight preferred not required
  • Hands-on industrial concrete: foundations, mats, pedestals, equipment pads
  • QA/QC programs and inspection paperwork
  • Read civil/structural drawings, rebar and embed details
  • CM/Engineering degree or equivalent field experience
  • OSHA 10 (30 a plus), open to travelBONUSCombustion turbine or combined cycle, ACI codes or certification, mass concrete pours, or running a craft training program.
