About the role
May ushers in the long-awaited return of concert season at the Missouri History Museum! This popular, free outdoor concert series on the Imo Family Plaza brings lineup of spectacular shows from local musicians. Listen to music from JAM: Michael Jackson and Bruno Marks Tribute under a beautiful Forest Park sunset as you help earthday 365 staff provide composting and recycling services. Some of the area’s best food trucks will also be on hand each week.
earthday 365's Recycling On the Go program provides recycling and composting services for this event. We will be helping attendees sort their waste between recycling, composting, and landfill at our "Waste Station," as well as helping staff sort recycling frames during the event. Volunteers must be willing to handle event waste (gloves and training are provided). After the event ends at 8, you will be helping the staff gather, clean, and breakdown the equipment to be packed up.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
