Team members collaborate to deliver practical, value-driven solutions that help clients achieve sustainable growth and improved financial performance.
Role Description: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a contract, remote role responsible for providing outsourced executive-level financial leadership to multiple client organizations. The CFO will oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting; manage financial reporting and analysis; and guide clients in interpreting financial statements to support informed decision-making. Daily activities include designing and improving internal controls, advising on organizational structure and operational efficiency, and developing strategies to optimize cash flow, profitability, and capital allocation. The role involves preparing and presenting financial dashboards and reports, collaborating with client leadership teams on strategic initiatives, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The CFO will also mentor client finance staff, coordinate with external auditors and advisors as needed, and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with client stakeholders.
Qualifications: Demonstrated expertise in Finance and strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate performance, and support strategic decisions. Proficiency in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Advanced knowledge of Financial Statements and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders. Experience with Financial Reporting, including management reporting, dashboards, and compliance with accounting standards. Extensive senior-level leadership experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, Controller, or similar role, preferably across multiple industries. Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and process improvement within finance and operations functions. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, client-facing environment. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA, MBA, or other relevant advanced credential is highly beneficial. Proven success in advisory or consulting environments and comfort managing several client engagements concurrently.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
