Candidates must reside in the greater Phoenix area or are willing to relocate) **Job Summary:We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our team supporting the Phoenix, Arizona market. This is a key role for a results-oriented sales professional with a consulting mindset and the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders alike.While technical fluency is a plus, success in this role is grounded in building long-term client relationships and strategically developing new business opportunities that generate revenue.We are looking for someone with a proven sales background, a hunger to grow, and the ability to prepare, plan, and execute smart outreach and meetings that close deals.What will you do at Sogeti:Drive new business growth within the Phoenix region, focusing on Sogeti’s full suite of professional services and solutions.Strategically plan and prepare before initiating contact with prospective clients, ensuring a tailored and informed approach.Lead client meetings and sales conversations with a clear understanding of client pain points, business objectives, and technical needs.Build, maintain, and expand strong, trusted relationships with new and existing clients, from line-of-business managers to C-level executives.Collaborate with internal technical experts and delivery teams to shape and propose impactful solutions.Support and close opportunities from inception through signed contract using a consultative, value-based sales methodology.Attend local events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand brand presence and prospect pipeline.Stay informed on industry trends, regional market shifts, and client competitors to guide strategy and positioning.Accurately manage pipeline forecasting and CRM reporting.What will you bring:5–7+ years of successful experience in a business development or client partner role, ideally within IT consulting or professional services.Deep understanding of consultative sales techniques, with the ability to communicate ROI and TCO effectively to senior business and IT leaders.Experience preparing pre-call research and discovery planning tailored to client and industry needs.Strong understanding of technology and digital transformation trends, with the ability to speak fluently (though not deeply technically) with stakeholders.Proven ability to meet or exceed annual sales quotas in the range of $5M–$10M+.Existing network of professional relationships in the greater Phoenix area is highly preferred.High level of professionalism, integrity, and entrepreneurial drive.Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).About SogetiPart of the Capgemini Group, Sogeti makes business value through technology for organizations that need to implement innovation at speed and want a local partner with global scale.
