About the role
UIC Bowhead Transport seeks a land / sea-based Marine Operations Barge Master to oversee the barge operations at all ports of call. Responsibilities include stow planning, receiving freight, documentation, reconciliation, conducting safety meetings and writing reports.
Regular travel throughout Alaska between the months of April through October is expected. Direct cargo operations, prepare voyage documentation, load and secure cargo, train crews, conduct safety risk meetings, operate cargo
