About the role
Our client, a SaaS AI Tech Firm is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their team as a Senior Accountant.
Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for the monthly, quarterly, and annual close. Review general ledger activity, investigate discrepancies, and explain changes in financial results. Prepare financial statements and other reports for internal stakeholders. Research accounting questions and document conclusions in accordance with U.S. GAAP.Review how transactions flow into the general ledger and resolve recording issues with the appropriate teams. Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to information requests. Strengthen accounting procedures, documentation, and controls. Assist with accounting systems and other projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3–5+ years of accounting experience in public accounting, industry, or both. CPA or active CPA candidate preferred. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, and the financial close process. Experience with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills. Experience preparing or supporting financial statements and external audits. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently and across teams.
