Position Summary
The Field Technician performs commercial building services on active and post-construction job sites across the Phoenix metropolitan area. This position is responsible for executing assigned cleaning and maintenance tasks safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards required by ACS Building Services and its clients. The Field Technician reports directly to an Operations Supervisor or Lead Technician and operates as part of a crew-based team.

This position is responsible for executing assigned cleaning and maintenance tasks safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards required by ACS Building Services and its clients. The Field Technician reports directly to an Operations Supervisor or Lead Technician and operates as part of a crew-based team.
Essential Functions
Performs post-construction cleaning on commercial buildings including sweeping, scrubbing, wiping down surfaces, and removing construction debris to prepare sites for owner turnover
Cleans interior and exterior commercial windows using professional tools and equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards
Operates pressure washing equipment to clean building façades, parking structures, sidewalks, and exterior surfaces
Performs floor care services including sweeping, scrubbing, and maintenance of carpet, concrete, tile, and vinyl surfaces
Completes specialty cleaning assignments as directed by Lead Technician or Operations Supervisor
Operates company vehicles to transport equipment and travel between job sites as assigned
Adheres to all site‑specific safety protocols, federal OSHA standards, and company PPE requirements at all times
Inspects and maintains assigned tools and equipment; reports damage or malfunctions to supervisor promptly.
Communicates effectively with Lead Technician throughout the shift regarding task progress, site conditions, and any hazards identified.
Completes required daily documentation including timekeeping entries and any incident or near‑miss reports

Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred; not required
Experience
Prior experience in commercial cleaning, construction labor, or a related trades environment is preferred but not required
On-the‑job training is provided
Licenses and Certifications
Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record is required for any assignment involving operation of a company vehicle; but not required
Fall protection or safety certifications are a plus but not required at time of hire
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
Ability to work effectively as part of a crew under the direction of a Lead Technician
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential to this role
Physical Demands
This position requires sustained physical activity throughout the workday. The employee must be able to:
Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly
Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods
Work at varying heights with required fall protection equipment
Perform repetitive hand and arm motions
Work in outdoor environments subject to heat, cold, and variable Arizona weather conditions

Work Environment
Work is performed primarily on active commercial construction sites and commercial properties. The employee will regularly be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, construction debris, cleaning chemicals, loud noise, and uneven terrain. Appropriate PPE is required and provided by ACS Building Services.
