About the Role: The Company is in search of a Vice President for its Maritime business area, a key executive role with a focus on driving the business's growth and success. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of business performance, including strategy, financial results, program execution, customer satisfaction, talent development, and market expansion. This pivotal position demands a leader with a strong background in the Maritime community, particularly within the DoD environment, and a proven track record in P&L management, business development, and leading high-performing technical teams. The VP will be the executive relationship owner for key customers, driving both organic growth and pursuing adjacent opportunities. Strategic planning, operational excellence, and a hands-on approach to leadership are essential, as is the ability to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and mission focus. Applicants for the Vice President role at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least 10 years' experience in a similar capacity, with a focus on running multiple projects and US Navy Programs within a DoD environment. The role requires hands-on experience with key US Navy organizations and advanced technology domains, as well as a strong background in business finance, profit and loss management, and business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, including capture and proposal development, and be adept at building and managing high-performing, technical teams. Excellent client management, business partnership, and relationship-building skills are a must, along with the ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership and mentor emerging leaders.
