About the role
Carpenter – Restoration & Remodeling We are hiring experienced Carpenters for multiple opportunities throughout the St. Louis area. We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in carpentry, remodeling, restoration, or building repair. Projects will vary by position and may include historic building restoration, fire and water damage restoration, commercial properties, residential homes, and multifamily properties. Responsibilities may include: Perform rough and finish carpentry Repair and replace framing, drywall, trim, doors, windows, flooring, and other building components Complete demolition and reconstruction following fire or water damage Perform remodeling and restoration work on occupied and vacant properties Measure, cut, fit, and install building materials Match or recreate existing finishes and architectural details Work from measurements, drawings, and project specifications Safely operate hand and power tools Assess damaged areas and determine appropriate repairs Maintain clean and safe jobsites Travel to different project locations as needed We are interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas: Fire and water restoration Historical building restoration Residential remodeling Commercial remodeling Multifamily/apartment renovation Finish carpentry Rough carpentry/framing Doors, windows, trim, cabinets, and millwork Drywall and general building repair
Qualifications:
- Previous professional carpentry, remodeling, construction, or restoration experience
- Ability to accurately measure and cut materials
- Comfortable using standard carpentry hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to local jobsites
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Historical Restoration Experience is a PlusFor certain openings, we are specifically interested in Carpenters who have worked on historic buildings and older structures, including repairing or recreating original architectural features, trim, doors, windows, millwork, woodwork, and other period-specific building components.
Multiple positions are available. Pay will depend on experience and the specific opportunity.
