Psych Mental Health Nursing Faculty Position Jefferson College of Nursing is seeking qualified applicants with experience in psych mental health nursing to join our team. This full-time, 12-month faculty position is part of the Undergraduate Program, based at our Lehigh Valley Campus in Center Valley, PA. The primary responsibility of this role is to uphold academic integrity through the planning, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and student learning experiences across classroom, laboratory/simulation, and clinical settings. Interested applicants must possess visionary, creative leadership skills to provide implementation of nursing curriculum within the undergraduate program.
Responsibilities include: collaborating with faculty for course planning/projections; identifying needed resources; overseeing selection of clinical preceptors and clinical sites; and overseeing student clinical placement and progression. Faculty members collaborate with Chair of Programs, Associate Deans, Dean, and support services to achieve program outcomes. As a faculty member, the applicant must have enthusiasm for teaching future nurses in the classroom and clinical settings. Faculty members serve as advisors and mentor for students and participate in college meetings and committees. Current practice, scholarship, and service to the community are desired. Strong communication and relationship building skills are essential. This is a salaried position with a generous benefit and retirement program. Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with experience.
